 Staff Robin SchmidtRobin Schmidt (*1973) studied philosophy and history, as well as education, sociology and psychology. Between 1996 and 2000 different study and research scholarships, involved in international student and youth activities at the Goetheanum.
Robin Schmidt became the director of the Kulturimpuls Research Institute in 2001. He co-ordinates and manages the different projects and works on research and publication projects on the development of Anthroposophy. He is married and has three children.

|  Götz DeimannGötz Deimann (*1926) studied economics. From 1968 until 1989 Board Member of Bilfinger+Berger Inc., an international building company. He established two foundations that are part of the ‘Association of Foundations for the Development of Academic Research in Germany’, and is a co-founder of the Kulturimpuls Research Institute. He is the editor of ‘Die anthroposophischen Zeitschriften 1903-1985’ (‘Anthroposophical Periodicals 1903 – 1985’) and is involved in the work of the Research Institute in project management and as a consultant. |

 Bodo v. PlatoBodo von Plato (*1958) studied history, philosophy and education in Germany, Austria and France. Teacher at a Steiner School in Paris. In 1989 co-founder of the Kulturimpuls Research Institute in Heidelberg, together with Götz Deimann, Christoph Lindenberg and Karl-Martin Dietz; director until 2001. Several publications on different aspects of the history of Anthroposophy. Since 2001 Board Member of the General Anthroposophical Society at the Goetheanum. At the Institute Bodo von Plato is currently involved in project management, consulting and a seminar on the history of the 20th century. He is married and has three children. 
|  Jan PohlJan Pohl (*1938) studied chemistry and languages in Graz and Vienna, as well as sociology, economics and ethnology in Basel. Jan Pohl was the librarian of the Goetheanum library between 1977 and 2003. He has been involved in the work of the Research Institute from the start; among other things he organized the biographical documentation. Currently Jan Pohl oversees the Institute’s library and is involved in project development. He is married and has two adult sons. |

|  Uwe WernerUwe Werner (*1941) studied German linguistics, literature and cultural studies, as well as economics in Freiburg and Paris. Teacher for history and geography in Paris, also working with learning-disabled students. Between 1992 and 1995 research project ‘Anthroposophists in Nazi Germany’ at the Kulturimpuls Institute. In 1995 he became the director of the Goetheanum Archive. At the Institute he is currently involved in project development. Uwe Werner is married and has a son. |

 Edda NehmizEdda Nehmiz (*1974) studied politics and education. She works on a research project on the history of the German section of the Theosophical Society and is responsible for responding to enquiries concerning the biographical documentation. 
 Johannes NiloJohannes Nilo (*1973) studied Slavonic Philology, German, History of Religions und Philosophy in Stockholm and Heidelberg. From 2003 until 2006 Johannes Nilo was conducting a research project on the concept of the soul in Rudolf Steiner’s early writings at the Hardenberg Institute in Heidelberg. Since 2006 he works in the Goetheanum-Dokumentation and as an editor in the Rudolf Steiner-Archive.
In the Forschungsstelle Kulturimpuls he works on a chronicle and on the film collection of the Institute’s library.

 Library and Archive
 Library and ArchiveThe library of the Kulturimpuls Research Institute was started by Götz Deimann who has been a collector for several decades. Today the library contains about 3000 original documents and first editions mirroring the history of the 20th century. The collection is focussed on literature from the turn of the 20th century, Judaism, the Holocaust and the Arts.
The archive contains documentations of individual biographies, institutions and events relevant to the history of Anthroposophy. There is also a collection of Anthroposophical periodicals.
